Hey I recently became an official SCLC founding member and I was wondering if we are going to do anything with the web site? I mean every time i visit the site its just a picture or it had the movie on there for the longest time. Maybe we could get some photos of past meets on the site. Or perhaps SCLC member rides or something. I just think it would be nice to expand our club out a little more. I know it takes time also and Im no web designer so dont think Im talking trash. Just a small suggestion I thought of. You can critique me if you shall. So there we go. Peace out peeps

Everyone that pays for a Gold Membership before the end of Aug. is a founding member.

 

Yes Joe, all members who apply and pay by September 1st are considered founding members. We already have both of your payments, so it says "founding member" on your cards. Actually, if I remember, I will bring your membership card to RRM tomorrow when we do the reflash. I'll be handing out the others at the meet next weekend.

Anyway, to answer your question, we have big plans for the website. We plan on having a database of members' cars and what they've done to it, maybe some pictures as well. You put your mods on the application for that reason, and also so sponsors can search for the right candidate when they need test cars. We will also have some meet pics, maybe on the opening page, and are looking into having some forums like this one, just not as big. Hope that answers some of your questions, but feel free to offer any suggestions. We're here to make the club what everyone wants it to be.

 

Good to hear Urban. Yeah I figured you guys and gals had plans but just wanted to make sure. By the way the membership comes with discounts at RRM and I wanted to get an AEM intake from them before the next meet. Is there anyway that I can get the discount before I get the card next Saturday. Sure would be nice since IM hurting for cash right now. Also I know ur getting your reflash right now so when you get back Urban tell me how it feels. I couldnt find the extra $300 i needed for it. Poopy O well maybe there will be a next time.

yea the web site hasn't taken full priority yet but give or take in about another month we'll have something that resembles a site. After SCLC#15 passes and everything settles we'll start uploading some pics of our past meets, some videos, some mp3 music to listen to while you cruise and a few other things. Deadline for registration to earn founding member status is this coming Saturday so don't miss out people. Support the cause, support your club.
