Well i show'd up at the starbucks off of 605 and south street, No one at all. So my lady and i decided what the hell , we're going anyways. Got there at 2pm and it was freakin packed already. Parked no prob $6 bucks for parking, then found out the tickets at the box office were $25 per person. Ok So i found a nice litte spot i could see the action. I tell you what, that is some bad *** $hit, watching those guys drifting. Saw Skylines, 350z's, 240's, RX7's and a few more i could tell. Alot of Right hand sterring racers. Saw alot of evo's spread out in the parking lot and some OZ's as well. But I couldn't find anyone from SCLC there, so i stayed through the whole practice session and inhaled some nice rubber smoke. Then my lady and i decided to leave because of the baby, and it was pretty hot. The line was at one point about 2 miles long and there was no way i was waiting in that line. For those of you who didnt go , you missed out on some bad *** cars and great driving skills, and some kickin music. But at least i got to be there to see what type of things went on and my Lady was excited to see what events like this were all about, which means we will be attending more when ever possible. Hopefully in the future i we will be able to hang out with more sclc members and have a great time. See ya all soon

 

damn, I so hate missing D1. I heard SCLC members were scattered through out the event. Miss seeing you at the meets man, hopefully you can come to the next one.

 

Ya Rich , i was all excited , just getting my car back and all, wanted to show everyone what clearcoat does to the yellow paint lol. It was confirmed about the single stage paint, and now the front of my car is all 2nd stage lol not too bad , but still can see a difference. I was unable to find any sclc members and my car is kinda hard to miss with the tint, which i got alot of compliments on just driving through the Lot. As far as other meets, i hope to hell i can go to more, they just always seem to be on the weekends that i have to work lol , we'll see and hope. Later man

 

Well just did a drive by, didn't know it would be so freakin packed. 2 mile walk just to park, F*&%*& crazy! Ended up just going back home. Oh well, sounded cool. Maybe next time I'll get there earlier.

 

The show was awesome! The Speedway was completely sold out and filled to maximum capacity.

Great cars and GREAT performances by everyone (go Ernie!). Anybody else there think the Lexus pulled a cheap one by smoking Rhys out in the esses?
