Definately take that into consideration. Now I just have to get my intake, Cobb AP, and test pipe. Stage 2 here I come.

Ahright! For all the Evos I see crawlin the streets, glad to see there's actually some action. I drive an RA, but there are two IX MRs on my street alone. One is a cherry GG, the other is a sad, neglected, abused, banged up WW. I've also seen a nice black X in the area (Makiki), we wave to each other when we pass.
Does anyone have any first hand info on RAD? I'm trying to find a reliable tuning shop, but want to be confident going there.

I got tired of looking for a tuner in this area. I was thinking about waiting for Chris from AMS to show up but then I started thinking what if I start having problems after he leaves. Who would help me? So I went with the next best thing until I get to the main land. Cobb tuning AP. should be here in 4 days. Shipping is crazy here.

yeah it is. thats part of the reason im hesitant on getting parts for it. especially the basics like the exhaust, the wieght alone makes it cost almost double what its worth.
one of these days though when i come into some moola will i start to modify my car. my last evo i had while in san diego i could easily get parts and only spent about 1500 total on just parts, about 700 for all the tunes cause every shop i needed was near by so never had to pay shipping..... Probably one of the best things i miss about the mainland.
let me know how your AP works for you. Ive thought about trying that, maybe even the mellon tune if i can get some guys **cough cough everyone here cough cough** with the right stuff to help me log and send my files in

My friend with GG EVO X GSR got it and according to the data of the AP he is putting down 335hp. I dont know how accurate it is but he raced a Evo 9 with a custom tune at 310hp last week at the drag strip in CA and he won by 1.5 car lenght. This is running stage 2. So I cant wait and see what it does for me.
