Question for the X owners. I have this rattling sound when I start up in the AM and also when I let off the gas and cruise between 3-4k RPMS. Anyone ever have this same issue? I think it might just be the downpipe rattling...a mechanic said it could be my throttle bearing. Any thoughts? LMK.

The only rattling I've ever had was the element in my cat some how got loose and was just rolling around in the cat housing. So at certain rpms it would rattle. Most of the time it wouldn't though. And why would your downpipe rattle? I would check clearance between your heat shields.

Thanks brotha, I'll have to get under there eventually. I'm gonna replace from the DP back. I don't have a cat...the previous owner was a retard. I can see RTV around where the DP meets the test pipe.

I know I asked this before but does anyone know a good and reputable shop to get a clutch changed out? I tried Import Dyanmics which I think used to be called Sonics but they they have given me three different quotes from times where I asked for an estimate and from times where I wanted to try and schedule an appointment. Anyone know other shops that are good?

I got my cluch, flywheel and stainless clutchline done by Ken at Pacific Auto. A bunch of the SCCA guys recommended him. He will be doing my cams, valve springs and 60k service next month. Pm me if u want his number.
