Alright anybody want to earn some cash? I have 3 Guages (AEM tru boost, wideband, and oil temp). I'm completely new to this and need somebody to help me install. And by "help", I mean pretty much do the whole thing/ give me a class on how to do it/ show me how it works so that I can have a clue. I was going to just give it to Leaf, but I kind of want to start learning how to do stuff other than bolt-ons. I started watching the youtube videos, but it didn't take long for the cloud to roll in. So here is your chance to make some guap! Lol.

Huh
Mine is also color matched to the interior
I could honestly say I feel like my pillar gauge could be a lot better
I didnt want to clutter my center console with gauges either and I so I did the double din conversion and Im more than happy with the results
I would want to see how the center mount gauge pod is like
The one that goes on your dashboard
If that doesnt work out
I would settle for a better pillar gauge pod
As for installing your gauges
I forgot where I tapped in for power
All I remember is running the cables through the passenger side of the engine bay

Not sure if its the same concept as the 8s...was the fork in the right position and did you try it w/someone popping the collar on the top n also you trying to work it on the bottom? If nothing else work, we've removed the individual bolts from the pressure plate to flywheel to pull it w/ the tranny then cut the TOB off....sorry if its totally diff on the Xs, good luck!

Same thing happened to me on my last clutch job. The TOB was stuck in the ring clip thing and that flimsy spring in between the clutch and TOB got mangled while I was trying to use the screwdriver to pop it out. I ended up unbolting the clutch from behind the flywheel then cutting the friction plate out with a dremel.

Oh and dammit, I forgot about Friday! Car was down anyway. I replaced my head gasket and head studs. Got it done around 8pm last night, cause I had to help a friend move on Saturday. Dennis help me tune!
