okie dokie.. so it's OFFICIAL that we're having some sort of Lake Mead meet on May 23rd?? Who's heading this expedition?? Let's get some official plans rolling!! the sooner the better, this way if people need to ask for the day in advance, they can go ahead and do that with time to spare, and not have to worry about getting their asses chewed out... :O

major plans need to include:

Where we're going (officially)
What time we're meeting up
Where we're meeting up
Who's bringing what for the BBQ
^ and bring the stuff with you, this way we don't have to stop and buy things
Where we're having the BBQ
What route we're taking to Lake Mead
Who's attending (and who you're bringing with you, if anyone)

I'd like to suggest that we do an evening run to lake mead and on the way back hit up lake las vegas for some photos. Can we do like a bonfire at lake mead without going to federal prison?

that'd be a really cool plan, but soooo inconvenient for me that i couldn't do it. nightfall is at like 7pm and eric and I both have work early that next morning. not to mention car shoots at night reeeally suck without proper lighting. idk about you, but i don't think everyone wants to have turns posing their car underneath 1 lamp post lol :P
i'm just speaking for myself however.

need some help troubleshooting, i've noticed latley that my rpm's spike when driving on the freeway maintaing 60mph when i go to pass i notice the rpms spike then drop down to normal just at that inital steping on the gas to accelerate (rpms go smooth from 3 to 4 then jump to 5 then goes back to normal sounds and feels like an automatic), like somthing is sliping or feels like sliping dont really know what to make of it this only happends when im in 4 or 5 idle just maintaing a certain speed. but if i get on it from a stop there is no problems. i've tried seraching and searching and nothing.

your clutch is slipping...
typically it will start slipping on the highway and going to pass because this is where there is quite a bit of load on the car.
It will get only worse from here.

LOL thats ef'n outstanding. good thing i only drive it from home to nellis, reverse and repete. any recomendations on street clutch's?

act HD pressure plate w/street disc is what most people go with. ive had several cuz of my low budget at the time. im saving now to get a real clutch. some kind of twin disc cuz i abuse my car if you dont race a twin disc will last a long time. and you will need it if you decide to start modding your evo again.

how harsh is the exeddy twinplate on a stock tranny etc ? for now im just driving it and babying it. i'm thinking twin plate might be alittle much, have been eye balling the exeddy street kit or the act street kit. i really dont wanna drop some cash for a twin plate esp if im just driving like a grandma lol
