ok so my car is still throwing p0300 code. i had spark plugs/wires checked, coils checked, injectors checked, new fuel pump, tuned/mapped by doug twice and this damn code is still coming on. even tried disableing the code in ecu and it still came on. is my ecu just f**ked?? should i just get a stand alone???

is it possible to switch to a different rom ID that doesnt experience this code as much?

NO stand alone! I had this problem before and it was the coils. however the other cause that 03 evos see more often are a bad ROM. Its not too hard to change to a different version.

its not hard. just copy the tables over from one rom to another rom...

when i had that code pop up before and a litle after doug tuned my car on e85 it pretty much went away after i swapped front O2 sensor and gapped my plugs down low. i hardly ever see this code come back, and im still using the stock coils. im sure if i got a cop that would help too.

my code still throws. Anyone wanna come turn mine off on the ECU?

if i had an extra set of coils i would let you borrow them for a trial period. . but like i said i spliced in a new front o2 and that took care of it for the most part.

get a spoolinup cop should fix your problem.....
