i have 80k miles on my evo and it still runs strong. just curious as to when does the engine start to wear down?? has anyone had any problems with high miles on their car??

theres a guy on the boards with a 06 mr and 159k...no problems other than wear items...

treat it good with proper maintenance, itll treat you good

Just sell the civic and keep the money on stand by for a built block! DO IT!

On a similar note.. all in the past 24 hours, my thoughts on doing my head studs and gasket have manifested into replacing the whole head. I was going to pull the head and have it checked for cracks etc... do timing belt and water pump also... but after everything it was going to be like 1100 bucks for labor and parts.. so now I'm thinking 1600 for a new head.. end of story.. yeesh.
