SEMA show - Vegas EVO's
Hey...
I am going to be out in Vegs for the SEMA 2010 event first week in November. I am from Pittsburgh, so heading out for cars, gambling, and maybe some time at the gentleman's clubs.
Any local EVO meets going on that week?

so far in all the years ive had my evo. ive only known one person that likes that boost controller. i had a buddy sell me his brand new one for 20bux. i later found out why. ive been using a manual boost controller ever since. also if you can get them in before sema you can probably get an AMS tune
Well the reason I'm going with that controller is because with the Forge MBC i'm running right now I hit 21psi then it tapers down to 18psi. I've ridin in Harvey's car with the Profec and it holds 21psi to redline. I won't have everything installed before SEMA. Also trying to decide if I'm gonna do springs/retainers and head studs while I'm at it.
**** I've seen 33psi spike and only 22psi at redline...
thursday in and out on Sahara.

I dont believe Harvey's car, put it on the dyno harvey! Also I believe the more psi you boost the more it tapers. Harvey is at 20 psi? so I dont see it tapering that much. Is yours at 21-22 psi? I can see it both tapering to about 19 on either cars.

I think there's a few people running the GM 3 port and were holding 30lbs from what they said. I didn't see it just talked to them and read a few other post about it. I know with a MBC you with taper a lot more then a EBC.

I've read and heard from people that ECU controlled boost doesnt taper hardly at all.
I know my car completely stock peaked at ~23.5 and tapered to 14 @ redline.
I put three turns on the WG and it peaked 25 and tapers to 23 at redline. this is with the stock solenoids and the car was stock.
after my mods and not touching the wg I peak 24 and still hold 22.5 at redline. still on stock solenoids.
