I'm a killer at swapping them, if you need any help. I switched mine out like 3 times working on that electrical problem I had a few years ago.

im pretty sure its not the battery. lights and dash come on fine and windows roll down at the proper speed. i tried to jump the car and it still just gave me that single click

Sounds like my starter problems.. want to use my half dead starter to try and swap it and see if it works? I have it just sitting around..

*edit*

By half dead, it would just be a slow turn.. it sounded like it WAS dying, but still worked!

lol, i thought that your problem wasnt the starter

if 8/9 starters are the same, then i might have to borrow it until i get mine rebuilt

I've got problems guys.. Just installed a full turbo back on my 03 and having issues. In 3rd and sometimes 4th gear at exactly 5500 RPM the car stops for a second and bucks real hard, then continues to pull like nothing happened. I pulled a P0234 code (know what it is) but am unsure what boost levels I hit when I buck. My best guess (from when I glanced over at the gauge) is about 21 PSI.. I should be at stock level of 19.5.

I've read a lot about this issue and think it is a combination of cold weather + new exhaust.

Whats the best way to fix this? MBC to lower boost to normal? Just get a flash tune?

Any input much appreciated!

well it sounds like a normal evo with mods thats not reflashed. boost cut like a pro. i mean we are talking about wide open throtle rite? thats just boost spike, the turbo back helps spool the turbo faster creating that sudden boost spike
