Yes, but from the horror stories I've heard, he'll never touch my car. lol

As for Doug's dyno... everyone seems to have differning opinions. I have heard many good things and many bad things. Hell I've seen and heard bad things about a lot of tuners. I sent you a pm and I can also give you some good tuners if you want a good "break in " drive down to phoenix lol.

As many have said, some people have mixed feelings on Doug for their own reasons, but he knows his stuff with the 4g63 drive train and has done very well with all my cars.
As for blowing up a car, let me see the proof. I've yet to see an evo blow up from a tune by Doug. I've only seen cars make serious improvements in power while tuned by him.
He still runs them a little conservative so you don't run into a bad batch of fuel and have something go wrong. However, when running a modified car and beating on it you are bound to break parts. If you don't plan for that, you shouldn't be modifying your daily driver.

All I know for sure is, if I have a permanent CEL after a tune, that unacceptable. I have nothing against Doug, and I don't mean to disrespect or offend anyone, but I've heard more bad than good about him which is why I choose someone else to tune my car. I know someone on this thread (will not use names) who had his tuned by him and then needed to have the tune fixed by another member. I'm not sure exactly what was wrong with it,because I don't know the first thing about tuning.I just want it done right the first time.

I was always wanting to do this, but thought it changed maps or something.. In fact, now that I think about it, I have no idea what it actually changes in the car.

I hear you. Well the same can be said for a lot of tuners across the country in all types of cars not just evos. I know of quite a few people that needed to be fixed at Dougs after getting tuned at other shops or driveway tuners out there. At the end of the day, its your money and you have to trust your tuner. I would be very interested in seeing the tune on a dyno after to log the afr and knock.

That video reminds me of a horrible 70's fitness instruction tape. Probably the musics fault.
