Looks like changing an alternator is a huge pain in the ***..... getting a new one... I guess I will make a day project out of it.... anyone swap one out yet? Any advice or tricks are welcome.

I've changed mine a few times (when trying to figure out where my charging problem was).. Very easy removal and install. Go from the bottom. 2 bolts on one side and one on the other side of the transmission and off it comes. Just remember to unclip the connector and THE BATTERY before going in there with your sockets. I forgot the first time and had a light show under my car. =D

Yeh, that was mine. Lights came on and all that fun. The biggest test is to pull your battery cable off once its running. If the car dies once it's running, it obviously isn't able to run on the alternator.
