I was tearing mine apart yesterday so I couldn't make the meet....
Ok ... Replacing the Alternator is tough job... but now that I've done it, I can see that it would only take a couple hours to knock it out... I did a LOT of extra work failing to take it out another way and then having to put that all back together
I does come out the bottom of the car... remove axle... lift motor.... loosen exhaust... remove K bar (on my car).... and you will give birth to an 8 lbs. Alt....
now my light flickers at idle... sigh... maybe I should have gotten a new tensioner too

Funny story guys...So I'm getting my cams installed right now. We pulled the valve cover off and guess what I see....A Tomei exhaust cam. : P Who put that there!? haha Yay for free money!

I hope so. I think Harvey said brand new those things were $800! Imma post em up for $450 or somethin.lol. Atleast it'll pay for the broken kelford I had to replace and part of the install. Good karma FTW

cool story! im surprised you never noticed the power diffirence between other evo IX's around. thats funny , you had some jdm **** in there. i have some tomei cams in my 8 they are 270 procams and i love them
