Doesn't FP recommend Amsoil?.... might switch after I get the new turbo in it... Loved Mobil1 for years now

What I hate is when they start offering more crap to sell you.... Just do what I ask dammit!

If you've loved mobil 1 for years why switch now, I think the oil stuff is all marketing... I've ran mobil 1, ams oil, rotella, damn near everything, in motors ive had Never notice a difference once the block was apart

The 15w-50 is the only mobil1 oil that has high zinc and phosphorus counts. It is also not a gl-4 so it has less detergents in it.

I would only switch brands if the oil I was using would mess up my new turbo... And FP was talking about parts in the turbo... not so much the block and head...

Walmart has 5 qts of Mobil 15w50 for $24.97 I believe. Thats what I just got for the supra.
Not a bad deal...

Which walmart and are you buying them by the quart or the jug? My local walmart didn't carry them and the quarts were $7.64 each

The one here on Craig has the gallon jugs, I'm running non synthetic at th moment. It's so much cheaper lol
