Do you already have the 3 port? If not I wouldnt bother. A good MBC or EBC will work less finicky in my experience. I will get our normal price chart up after a bit

Ok I'm lost, and need some help. My car started overboosting to about 24psi when I put on my test pipe. I now have full ETS intercooler pipes, intake, and a hallman MBC. No matter what I set my hallman to (currently have the soft spring in with it unscrewed all the way out) but my car still refuses to get off 24 psi.

Anybody know a fix?

As for my plugs, they are 8's currently and yea I bought the iridium tipped ones, and gapping was a ***** on em, so I just put em in. I haven't had any blowout even when gapped pretty large. I may swap back to copper though and push it down to where everyones saying I should go. (.20)

*edit*

On that note, anyone have some copper plugs?
if you start making another 100-200whp you might run into blow out though. Who else in town is making 600+ whp and not running a box?
Like I said its a peace of mind that you dont have any misfire issues when running that kind of power...

ya I figured when he said lower he was talkin about that. But he wants to mount the hvac there. That is actually a bit different unless you modify the hvac controls to mount in a single din setup.

Also i havent tried the iridiums on my own car yet, and i have a non cdi cop ignition
I usually run 7s too. seems to run the best

go with a mbc. If you are goign to be running e85 and a single boost level all the time its the best to go with.

you try just disconnecting the boost controller and run off wastegate? While its off, see if the ball in the mbc is stuck for some odd reason.

Hmmm.. well ****. I dunno if I'll have all these parts bought by the time they come out in April! Grrr! As for the MBC thing, I know that. I've got an MBC, I was talking about the price list I need for him tuning our cars.

It was overboosting before I put the MBC on though. I'm starting to think it's the wastegate going bad..

Hook up a bicycle pump to the wg actuator and see if it opens under pressure.

have you considered that your wg could have too much preload on it and maybe it needs more slack?
