i would have said your valvetrain is ticking cause you have cams and the lifters need to bleed them. but there arent any cams in your sig. maybe the previous owner had them on and pulled them out, now you have a noisy valvetrain. mine does that too. its annoying to me

more than likely roy its a bent valve tappet. I had two of them replaced on my X last year... its actually becoming more and mroe common. MMNA told me after they fixed mine that they were considering replacing all tappets with stronger versions, but there was no set date on when a recall of that size would go thru.
if you want we can meet up sometime and i can tell you instantly if thats the sound. lol by the time i actually got the stealership to admit there was a problem, my car sounded like a diseal engine it was ticking so bad. besides i still have your stock BOV and hose to give back to ya.
