Did you have to bungee cord it to the back of your R1?

Just wait until you see the widebody. It is seriously a whole different WORLD of quality and attention to detail.

also, will AEM intake void my warranty? i just got the car...not even plates on it yet.

coz if anything, i would go to a mitsu dealer and get them to do the t-case check. and i really dont want to take off the intake coz i just labored to install that in the garage on 104 ambient temp...on the shade. garage felt like an oven! i just dont want to do that again if i dont have to.

I went in for warranty work 4 times actually

The first time was to double check the alignment to make sure it was all good which they took my car out drive it to check which pissed me off so bad.

Second time was for my right passenger a/c vent wont hold position.

Third time i went in to get my radio replaced because it wasn't reading that my aux or ipod cords were connected, and at this point i had my Greddy ti-c turboback exhaust on.

Fourth time i went in was to get my right passenger a/c vent fixed yet again for the same reason, and it needs to be replaced AGAIN because is actually doing it again which is very annoying.

This was all done at Courtesy Imports on Gibson. I don't know if they put it in their computers or not if i had the exhaust on. Who knows if they will void your warranty or not..just come in without the parts on i guess to be safe..

margie, the first time you took it in, did you have any mods done to it? intake? UICP? FMIC? you didnt specify if you have any visible mods.

coz like i said, i labored (see sweating like a pig) through the install on the intake and putting it back to stock, i would have to go to do the same thing. that and im too lazy to put it back to stock and then reflashing my ECU back to stock with the AP.

but if anyone here can chime in and say "they will void my warranty" with 100% conviction, then i will put it back to stock. The X has parts on it already and it hasnt even been registered to the DMV yet!
