Recaro suede seats and everything else is in good condition as far as I know.........interior(including bags) was unharmed in the wreck. I will be keeping the engine/harness/cluster for myself for sure........the trans and suspension and diffs I might use if my chassis guy can make it work on the sprite otherwise it will all be up for sale.
I'd rather have a 1400lb car you never see on the road with Evo engine(and possibly drivetrain) as opposed to a 3000lb car with the same powertrain.
PS I was originally looking for a 4g63 for my Conquest/Starion years ago...........but ended up selling the car before finding one I liked.

I could use a few bits too actually. pass c pillar and plastic around shifter ( dont really need ash tray or shift boot) are just a few things off the top of my head.
I got an evo for more than just a straight line to each his own though. As cool as a healey is, I'm a giant. It would just look ridiculous for me to drive that thing

I'll let you know on parts as soon as insurance is done with the car(hopefully in the next couple days).
The Sprite will be thrown around corners as well........they used to dominate Auto x and still hold a bunch of records. I understand not being interested in a tiny car if you are a giant. This car makes a Miata look huge.

I like seeing all these Lambos being built up.............that means they are more likely to wreck them(so I can fix them).
PS I do high end and exotic collision repair/bodywork for a living.

Hopefully being TT soon
nice BCHAPPY and I race exotics around the track all day.
Let me tell you guys, don't ever question a hp/tq number or ability of InsaneSpeeed. Today Todd was great enough to throw me the keys to the blue beast and all I can say is wow. I have been fortunate enough to drive quite a few high horsepower cars (600+whp street and race cars, not the exotics at my work) but this one is so smooth. The power comes on strong but smooth (no light switch powerband here) and it continues to pull with ease as high as you want. The transfer to next gear was butter smooth and even with a slow shift the boost was right there in the next gear, with a fast shift it just planted you in the seat. I am impressed to say the least. The car is very streetable but easy mid 9 sec capable with probably high 140 trap speeds at FULL weight with stereo system.
Only problem I had was stalling leaving the shop a few times on the Tilton Carbon/Carbon, but that was my fault as I was being a bit soft on the throttle not keeping the car running with such a lightweight drivetrain. Todd says 40% lighter than stock!!
thanks again Todd.
