First diagnosis of my drivetrain whine.... (whine started at the track after doing 2 warm up laps (approximately 7 miles) with a right rear tire that went low/flat)
Oils (trans/t-case/rear diff): all the regular amount of dirty, but nothing (iron based) picked up on magnet
On a lift, engine running, wheels spinning in gear: no noise
Driving at speeds less than 30: very light whine when decelerating or accelerating, loud whine when coasting
The noise is more apparent in the back seat during the driving test
The rear diff is mounted solidly to the chassis (AMS mustache bar delete kit I think). Does this solidly mounted rear diff have the ability to transmit drivetrain noise from other sections of the car? Right now, Eladio and I are suspecting the rear diff...
Does anyone have a rear diff (housing/complete) laying around that I could borrow for a quick check to see if the noise goes away? I'm just trying to avoid the expense of sending it out to Dan's driveline for inspection if there's nothing wrong with it.
Thanks!

I have ultimate racing TBE. I have the 2step kinda down now. So i might have a good launch. Just don't dump the clutch and u won't bog.
I'm hoping to be a member of the 12 sec club! but mid 13 is fine too.

Hey Johnny, my girlfriend is a Realtor, let us know if you need help looking for a place.

She works for Realty One Group. You can use realtor.com to look for listings. If there is any you would like to see, let us know and she can show them to you. She can search for you, just give us details of what exactly you would like, for example what area, number of bedrooms, etc.
She doesn't know of any 3 car garage apartments. But she can probably find a house with a 3 car garage for around $1,000 rent.
