hmmm,not sure what part of town i want to live in, Ill be working on the AF base which is on LV/craig so I guess anywhere 30 mins or less away (which is hard to judge due to traffic and such)
2/3 bedrooms,2/3 car garage,and 1100 or less. Im not too picky lol. we can talk through Email so we dont clutter up the forums:Johnny.q13@gmail

What I'm interested in, is whether or not drivetrain noise can/will make it's way into the chassis from the rear diff, when the problem is actually upstream (t-case - center diff) due to the solid mount.
Of other note:
During the last autocross I noticed it was distressingly easy to lock up the front tires under braking, and when they locked up (front right more than the left) the whine sounded really bad. To me this sounds like a symptom of center diff / transfer case issue being that the front axle(s) are stationary and the rear driveshaft is still spinning as normal?

so my car has been grinding a bit in 5th, read through all the forums blah blah, changed the tranny fluid still grinding, im thinkin about just getting it rebuilt, should i go with shep or jackstransmissions? any ideas other than just swapping my gear oil? i also put shifter base bushings and underhood in that biaatch no luck. anything would be great

Hey.... It seems like you guys meet up fairly regularly.... I somewhat recently acquired a 2008 EVO X with a few mods
when and where are your next meet-ups... I would like to bring my EVO and come meet some of you guys....

on the dyno my EVO's about 350 whp and about the same number on torque
AMS front mount intercooler
AMS lower and upper intercooler piping
AEM intake
HKS low temp thermostat
CBRD aluminum radiator
Saamco radiator hoses black
OEM Ralliart black valve cover
Akrapovic Titanium exhaust, downpipe back

Hey there cubbie! nice to see another local. And grats on the evo. You picked up quite a beauty, kept eye balling the threads on the progress on that car, then saw the original owner put it up for sale to start a 2011 sti sedan build i believe. ( if thats the same car )
Our meets on Thursdays are around 8 to when ever people start to leave. There also another meet on Wednesdays on Durango and flamingo i believe are the cross streets.
