got so effing scared today... Went and tried to do the logs for the tuning and on the second WOT..26 psi...POP!!!!! Looked under the hood and the upper pipe came off the turbo inlet with the t-bolt clamp.
Either i didnt tighten it enough, even though it looks tighten down since its pretty much looking maxed out, or it just finally let go, need to try hairspray now or something. Thomas and i boost leak tested it like last week and it was holding 40 psi and ive done how many pulls now for the logs, sooo i dont know.
Tomorrow morning im just going to try to find a t-bolt clamp that wont be maxed out tightening it down, The one i have now is a 2.25, And i believe trying a 2.00 wouldn't even wrap around the inlet with the coupler. For the others, I just tighten them down until it feels hard to tighten them, and then i give it a few more or so turns. I am just afraid to bend the aluminum piping, which i am hoping i didnt.
I talked to Ben@AGP and they said the clamps they provided( which are somewhere with other clamps, ill be finding out what kind they use ) are quality and can hold high boost all day. He said the ones they use has held 60 psi on his other car, so well see...
Thought i'd just share some of my day... haha

Man your having one issue after another. AMS FTMFW!
Just kidding bro... If you need help with things tomorrow let me know. On a serious note I am pushing 28psi and not one issue with couplers popping off. Maybe you should check everything before you do logging.

Spotted yesterday, some chick driving Pauls car (the supra). Looked exactly like yours, but had no wing on it. Also Roger found your sunglasses at the shop, stop by sometime and grab them when you are close by.
Thanks guys for the advice on the ticket, even at $50, CPK sounds like a good deal.

Yeah, with cpk, they give you additional month more than what the ticket says. I've always used them and it's always good experience...just hoping I won't have to use them again!

thanks for all the input about the clutch guys, with extensive searching ive decided to go with competition clutch stage 4 - 6 puck ceramic, with competition clutch light flywheel.... doug said he'll install it for 500, unless someplace might be cheaper? I looked at doing it myself and well, id rather save myself the 5-8 hrs of work as i have no time off this week
i read somewhere that a guy with a slipping clutch threw a rod through his block after driving it on the highway going 80mph, this true? ill be avoiding driving my car for the next week until this clutch is put in...maybe ill have doug also put in my 9 turbo, 10.5 hotside, and exhaust manifold

Cruise hasn't happen. I'd be down though. It would be fun. Anyone coming out tonight? I know it's been windy but just wondering, I'm just enjoying the day off haha

18th saturday sounds good to me, what time and is this the mt. charleston run? possibly get food before or after? if so we should meet at the park on osa blanca, huge chunk of asphalt there not being occupied by anything
hopefully my clutch will be fixed by then
