Alan-

Couple questions, what rpm do you shift at?

Tephra has a mod for the evo x to do no lift to shift. On daily driving with no lift to shift, if you lift to shift does the car buck at all or is it like stock?

P.S. Nice runs! Test and Tune might be the ticket to 10's.

I shift around 6800

Map is set to stock for NLTS. I shift fast enough to not need that. RPM never goes over 7100 when I shift at 6800.

Cool, it looked like you were shifting early. 6800 is much sooner than I was expecting. I'll have to try that next time I'm at the track.

^ ^ ^

Sound like a good plan, especially if your car doesnt make any extra power past 6800, like most evos . No sense in reving it out if your car doesnt make power that high

I started drag racing when I picked up my first Evo. I'm not sure where I heard it, but someone told me to shift between 7200-7300. I'll have to wait for a test and tune.

going higher than 7000 seems to cause ''lockout'' issues for me.
