i've only been pulled over once in the evo...and that really doesnt count.

the dmv screwed up on my registration and didnt enter my plates in correctly, so when a cop tried to run them, he couldnt find the record. so he just pulled me over to figure out the issue.

funny part is, this was the weekend after i put my exhaust on, so i was freaking out a bit haha

Anyone locally tune the Evo X? Other than Doug's lol heard mixed reviews from you guys at the last meet. Or does anyone have a Tactrix 2.0 cable? Let me know! Would love a tune sooner than later.

I'm curious to know who was giving you mixed reviews about Doug. When I first arrived here, everyone was telling me not to go to Doug, but those were also the same *** clowns that have never been tuned by him. I even know a few evo guys that try to take him ****ed up evos with mechanical issues and expect him to fix it all with tuning.Anyway, I'm very happy and satisfied with my DDP tune and experience

If you are just trying to make slight adjustments for little bolt ons , I'd suggest you buy your own tactrix cable and do some reading in the ECUflash forums (it would cost you alot less than having some local guy tune your car) I think every evowner should have one

its very simple once you actually get into it, If you have any questions I'd be glad to share what I know. But there's tons of info in the ECUFlash section.

As far as I'm concerned Jim Marsh is the only one. I refuse to give Courtesy another dollar.

I have never been pulled over for a moving violation. Every time I have been pulled over, it is for modified exhaust. 5 times in the Evo, twice in my bugeye, once in my srt4, and a few times in my DSM's. Thus why I don't drive the car uncorked.

Wow. Do they give you a ticket?

And I guess ill be going with a hfc then instead of a test pipe. My ets exhaust is loud with stock cat.

Guess it just depends, i roll a test pipe and V2 Extreme exhaust which is obnoxious as hell and never been bothered, when i see a cop i kind of just cruise by them lol but still. Also had 3" turbo back on my SRT4 and never got tagged.
