they are suppose to pop the hood to make sure its not an Illegaly imported car.they must have just thought your car was a honda with a body kit. LMAO anyways all the old timmers usually do that check.

Lookin' for some help. Any modded guys had to run through Vegas smog yet?? I need some help so I can get registered over here. I'm runnin' catless but I can swap a cat back in no problem. All my o2s are functional, no CELs, no extra o2s either. My **** looks completely stock to the onlooker minus the bolt ons. I posted this on the Evo FB page too and a guy said they plug into your OBD port. That's what's got me worried. I doubt Vegas laws are as strict as CA so I know I can pass a sniffer with my cat back in place but if they see modified maps within my ECU, then I'm ****ed. Any info or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!!

Well thats my situation so I guess putting my cat back on would be a good idea all around it sounds like.

Youll pass smog with out a cat no problem. I pass just fine without a cat. Smog checks are very lazy out here, as long as you dont have have any errors on the odb2 youll be fine.

Hey guys and girls,
Just so you know, evom.net is doing the banner run with a mascot called Darwin the otter. Well, it's confirmed and we r gonna be the banner and Darwin's next host specifically for SEMA convention. Who else in here have SEMA pass so I won't be walking down the convention center all by myself holding an otter stuff toy? Haha! Well, I just want to get a group picture for evom.net. But if you want to join me walking in SEMA, we can do an EvoM Vegas crew invade SEMA! If I can get passes from the sponsor, I will let you guys and girls know as soon as possible.
