What's replacing it? e36 m3 is a good track car

 

Not really, the fastest one out at MMP is slower than my 240 and cost twice as much to build.

Your garage is close by V's I'm sure you've seen all the M's that have replaced evo's..fickers non M does awesome in enduros and makes great lap times even with a non m motor. Builds are not really that bad, shells are cheap and they take a beating really well. I think it's an awesome chassis, there plenty that are boosted out there and swapped ls motors etc. I guess it's all personal preference, I like the 240 for dd and drift **** I like majority of rwd cars better then I do awd

I don't think he has a garage? And the EVOs didn't get replaced, the guys that had them just stopped racing. Now some of the guys with E36s have stopped racing too, most of his crew hasn't been out racing this year.

And the difference between the Copper EVO Brendon is selling and Ficker's car was about 5.5 seconds on the Outer loop, EVO ran a 2.06 and the BMW ran a 2:11. Strangely enough, the difference between Ficker's car and a Spec Miata was also about 5.5 seconds.

That EVO was around 3,000 lb with a stock engine, non DOT tires, worth $15k~$18k and finished the 3 hour enduro with 2 or 3 more laps than Ficker's BMW.

The 240... It ran the Outer Loop last season in 2:03.9, at about 2500 pounds and 240 HP. I've now got it down under 2300 pounds with more weight to take out and up to 370 hp and 409 tq, shooting for 1:59s on the Outer this year. And I'd sell it today for less than $15k!

Realistically, you will need to spend way more than $15k~$18k on an M3 to go faster than either an EVO or a 240.

1.8 60 ft, locked out of third , then fourth I was pulling on the shifter wayyy to hard webt to second hit 9k pulled it out of second went to 4th. Ended up coasting a 13.8 so **** clutchmasters.

For reference I hit a 13.2 with a 2.2 60ft with 245whp.

I still raped an m3.... lol

 

that blows, i hate clutch/trans issues. that and rmr track prep blows i did a best of low 1.8 high 1.7's there, at our local track i was mid 1.6's with no changes
