Yeah that price is sky high , and aren't the seats supposed to be Recaros????

Did the insurance people give you any guff about not having the front crash beam?

That's too bad man. I hope insurance doesn't give you a headache and glad you're lady friend is okay!

Side note: Anyone recall when we were talking about traffic laws, we mentioned front plates and I can't remember what our final decision was on them. I think it was that it had to be a secondary and they couldn't simply pull you over because of it... I just got pulled over and got a ticket for no front plate (which has never happened to me before). I wonder if it was because I was in downtown SL (where I hear they're more sticklers for that than elsewhere).

I'm sure it cannot be the primary reason for pulling you over... Maybe fight it?

I have been told 6 times to get a front plate, never any tickets.

And yes dt cops are just very angry people for some reason lol.

Yeah the adjuster should be out on monday to check it out, so hopefully it will turn out alright. The crash beam was on there actually, got ripped off when it hit.

I have NO idea how the intercooler didn't get destroyed. The top is scratched a bit but it looks alright overall, as does the IC piping (though it did get pushed back in the engine bay a bit)

Well... He said I was speeding. But I don't know that I was and the ticket just says "Speeding in a 25 zone" but has no listed speed and isn't a citation for that. So maybe that's how he got around it...

Thanks to Zack for the turbo!
And I got another question for all y'all . It has to do with a camera. For a beginner which DSLR would get. Cannon rebel or a Nikon d3100. Its for the wife. Thanks in advance

No front plate is a secondary, In the 22 years or so that I've lived in Utah I have never run a front plate

both canon and nikon are great brands and are easy to operate. i personally shoot with a canon t1i. all rebel series are considered entry level. i believe the canon rebel t3 is the cheapest one.

Agreed. I also have a t1i, I love it, if you're thinking it's going to be long term or something that will grow remember most of the lenses you buy for your starter camera can transfer to a nicer camera someday. Good glass is where you'll spend the most money if you really get into it.
