So i recently bought an 03 Evo 8. I was driving around the other day and suddenly service engine soon light came on. Im new to the forums and was reading around to see what the probable cause for the light was. So i took the car to mitsubishi of San Rafael to have them pull the code for the error, but they wanted to charge me damn near 70 bucks just to check the code. I was wondering if anybody in the San Francisco area would be able to pull the code for me forcheaper than that. I was thinking about disconectiong the negative terminal of the battery to try and reset the light, but i would really like to know why it popped up in the first place. Any help woould be appreceated. Thanks
