NV Smog Check

Anybody have trouble passing a smog check in NV after adding a turbo-back (with hfc) or changing the intake?

ive never had any trouble passing smog since i bought my car in 06. dont think it matters what your mods are as long as your not smoking out the tail pipe and dont have a check engine light on. unless you go to some ***** that does a visual inspection and your running a test pipe. you know a super trooper smog guy. lol. good luck . i just did mine at jiffy lube for like 19.99.

I see a lot of posts from people in CA talking about how changing the stock cat will almost always lead to a failed smog check, but I was hoping NV would be different. I am glad to hear that.

You will have NO trouble passing whith those mods. NV is not like NY or CA. They will hook you up to the OBD reader no codes no troubles. Only 2 countys in NV have smog. Clark (las vegas) and Washoe (reno).
