its not 92 its an old sticker... gas stations are allowed to have "special" advantages over the other jsut like they can't charge 50 bux a gallon when gas prices go up... If you want to know what octane 76 or anyother company is using simplely ask the attendant or call contact them directly...

End result is that this hose apparently makes a huge difference, and i find the 91 from other sources with seperate hoses to be far superior for my cars performance.
You know what i've heard before i'm nto sure how well it works or if its true, but some stations will mix 87 and a higher octane fuel at the pumps to produce a particular octane, in those cases I would not pump there.

Years ago, there was a summer and winter blend of fuel and it went from 91 to 92 depending on the season. (forget which is which). Then it became only 91 all the time. I have seen old 92 stickers around some stations. Ignore it. It's all 91.

Theres a 76 gas station in Chula Vista that sells 92 at the pump, the station is on Telegraph East I believe. I highly doubt the stickers are just old stickers, there are organizations that go around testing pumps to spec and what not.

Consider yourselves lucky if you're getting $5 100 octane from a pump. I have to pay $6.20 a gallon in Everett, WA and don't have the convenience of getting it from a pump.

I have 100 octane for $4.99 down the street from my house, then I have VP Racing 100+ Octane in canisters in Orange, CA. Used to be able to pump 100+ octane into your car, not anymore - supposedly I was told its against some law(s)?
