TR303 and 340 differences/path

Hi,

Read and reread the WORKS site, as well as searched in this forum. I may have missed somehting, and if so, I apologize.

The 303 package comes with
P2
throttle-body
76mm IP
76mm ABM

The 340 package comes with above, and adds
air filter ($99)
cams ($349)
76mm ceramic coated DP ($349)

The price difference between the two packages is $1150, but the sum of the component additions of the 340 package is $797. What am I missing that accounts for the $350 difference in the package price?

Second question: If I go with the 303 package now, what is involved (price, programming, ??) to upgrade to the 340?

A quick summary of upgrade path procedures would be appreciated. For instance, if I go with the straight 303 package now, then later added WORKS HFC, would the HFC price (currently $229) include reprogramming the P2 for the new cat?

Thanks for your time
Jeff

In regard to the cams, $349 is price PER cam. So, it will be $700 for the cams.

Works offers free flashing for their parts. So, if you but the HFC later on, they will flash your ECU for free but you pay for shipping.

WORKS packages

Hey Jeff,

Feel free to ring me at WORKS to discuss your EVO development, I currently have the
WORKS TR-303 on my 2005 RS. I'm limited to the 303 due to my class/spec for USTCC w/ NASA next year. (no cams, stock downpipe, etc).

If you want a feel for the package come by and I'd be glad to give you a ride.

In addition, I'll be at Thunderhill on Friday Sept. 16th and Infineon on Sat. Oct. 9th & Sun. Oct. 10th and can give you a demo ride around the track.
