WORKS MR For Sale

This 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR Edition was broken-in properly and meticulously by the engineers at WORKS. It has been painstakingly cared for over the past 14,000 miles following all recommended service intervals and beyond. The car has only been driven on the street and never been driven on the track or any other motorsport event. It has remained accident and smoke-free.

The WORKS MR made its debut at the 2004 SEMA Show in Las Vegas as part of the Toyo Tires display. Since then, WORKS has teamed with Mitsubishi Motors and made appearances at the 2004 San Francisco Auto Show, 2005 San Jose Auto Show, 2005 MOD at MMNA Headquarters and most recently at the 2005 California International Auto Show. WORKS has also shown the EVO at the 2004 EvolutionM.net Tuner Shootout and the 2005 Rim of the World Rally. It has made appearances at numerous enthusiast events throughout the state of California.

This MR Edition is available with or without the WORKS vinyl graphics package as show and will not affect the cost. Asking price is $30,999 for the car in stock trim. The balance of the Mitsubishi factory warranty still remains.

Purchasing the WORKS MR as it sits (pictured) with the WORKS graphics package for at least 3 months would run $37,999. The value of this installed package is well over $10,000 in parts alone.

Included items are:
WORKS TR-340 SS-3 Performance Package

I like it. I would love to have that as my second EVO. It's too bad I can't afford it. 37K is out of my reach right now. I'll be in Cali soon too. I could fly one way and drive it back. Ooooh it is soo tempting.

The Mitsu warranty was probably voided the moment they drove the MR away from the dealership.

Warranty is intact and we still take it in for the free maintenance

I only know of one dyno session (91 octane), but couldn't tell you how many pulls nor numbers. The TR-340 package will generate 340 crank HP minimum (91 octane). The '05 models take mods more kindly and would expect the numbers to be even better.

Okay, I am very interested in the car, guys. I have been looking for an Evo for a few months now and the one I found isn't for sale anymore due to wreckage.
Anyway, since it's not under warranty, I would need the price to drop. Give me a call 864-993-2493 and we can talk about it.
Also, would you ship the car? I am on the east coast, so if not don't bother.
Thanks.
ps- lose the decals and it would sell quicker IMO.
edit - name's chris, btw
