There's more clearance between the positive terminal and the STB than it looks in the picture. There's around 3" of clearance.

ETA is unavailable at the moment, but they are in production. Pricing hasn't been finalized, but looking ~$300 for the rear strut brace and ~$500 for the whole cage.

That looks sweet. Thanks for the pics marksae.

A few questions:

Are the braces in the pics painted white? They look white to me, but maybe it's because of the white paint in the rest of the trunk is reflecting off of it. I'm assuming it's going to be a brushed or satin finish like with the front brace for the production run. Am I correct on this?

Aluminum, right?

Is there going to be the WORKS logo on it like on the front brace? I know, kind of poserish question, but I dig it.

Is the rear trunk bar (not the strut tower brace or the fore-aft members) going to be a similar style (a blocky aluminum) to the other members or is it still going to be the OEM RS style already available? I would guess the OEM RS, but it would be tight if you did it the same as the others.

More pics of all the members would be much appreciated.

Thanks. Keep up the good work!

Saw it on Tuesday, the members are not white. They are a brushed steel/aluminum. Very nice though.

The coloration may be off in the pictures. The final version will be the same as our front bar in finish, aluminum construction and will have the WORKS logo. The rearmost portion of the "cage" is the Mitsubishi RS trunk bar as the drop bars were designed to fit with it.

The bars have the same finish as their front STB. Once the fore-aft bars are bolted in place, the stock RS bar bolts right on top of them.

What's the word fellas?

I got a feva, and the only presciption is more trunk cage! I got to have more trunk cage!

So what's the ETA on this? A ballpark figure would do: weeks, couple months, several months, a year, never, what?

I'm going to be out in San Fran from AZ in like three weeks and I'm going to pick up some goodies, namely an MR short shifter. Would be nice to bring back this trunk cage too.

Greetings,

The old assumption of not having anything getting in the way, we should have them in hand by June 15th. At this point they are out of our hands.

Watch this space for more information soon.

Sincerely,

Oliver Simons
