Works 269 Cams Dyno Numbers?

It is very acceptable.
My friend with his E46 M3, with full racing suspension, Slicks and Brakeman brake set up (one of the best around) turns 1.23-4's.
He also drove my car and said with coilovers, bigger SW bars and camber plates, he could trun better times with my car than with his car.
FYI, Going to the track next Friday...

Damn sorry. I keep doing stupid things like actually working (in fact all night last night).
As long as I don't fall asleep on the scanner ... I'll get the dyno charts up by this afternoon ... and this time I mean it.

Well guys it's been longer than I had originally planned but I finally got the charts scanned.
This is with the P2, Aperature, Exhale (DP+IP(70mm)+AB), and 269 Cams.
Total Power:
Total Torque:
Higher resolution versions of the charts (~750KB@300dpi) are available at:

EDIT: All of the above runs were done on California 91 Octane pump gas.

so a little over $3200 for 50hp? Seems kinda expensive.
Why dont you guys have stages or package discounts?
Thats without the flywheel or dual vent valve either.

Guack007:
Uhm. There's power, and there's safe power. This is 285 whp of power with very little to no chance of detonation or damage. Additionally, the curve is pretty damn level and smooth.
Secondly, this is with the DVV and Flywheel, but uhm ... neither of those are power increasing mods (how exactly is the flywheel or vent valve going to increase power? the stock valve doesn't leak ... and the flywheel mass only affects acceleration, not hp)
As for package deals or stages, WORKS doesn't offer them per say at the moment, but if you actually talk to them they can put a comprehensive package together for you.

I meant the $3200+ figure I estimated( from there website) isn't including the flywheel or valve. I know they dont actually make power themselves but wouldn't a lighter flywheel allow for the turbo to spool sooner, thus making more power earlier? Also when you say comprehensive packages do you mean discounts on packages? Comprehensive just means complete not discount.

Well the power producing mods themselves would be:
P2 $599
AP $349
AB $299
IP $449
DP $479
PC $699
For a total of: $2874
And at the moment, the AP probably isn't adding much to the power curve (now it will make a significant difference when I start looking at the turbo kit). That means the power mods are really more like $2525 for about 335 fwhp ... almost the exact same as Vishnu's package that runs $2500 and produces the same power. This is definitly not expensive given the quality of the pieces and the customer service provided by WORKS.
AFAIK: the light flywheel will not decrease spool time in a dyno environment. it increases throttle response and increases the speed that the rpm's will drop when you let off the go pedal. this is great for rev matching, and fast shifting.
As far as the packages go, figure out what you want and give them a call. That's what I did, and on ended up with almost all their gear.
If you have WORKS do the install, you have a better chance of getting a good deal. If you're just buying parts, you'll have to have a sizable package before trying to get a deal, solely because the profit margins on most of the WORKS line is <%10 (with the Exhale being one of the lowest profit margin pieces they sell)
